The Kit Process

Basics
So no one thinks I pick favorites, or I am being unfair, I am going to explain the kit process, or how I come up with the number and gender of the kits in a litter. First off, I have a normal, 6 sided dice.

Step 1
Roll the dice, if it is a number other than 1 the parents will conceive.
(If the parents are breeding in a non-breeding season, this is opposite)

Step 2
Spin the dice again. Whatever the number lands on will be the number of kits from 1-6

Step 3
Depending on the number of pups conceived in step 2, the dice will be rolled that many times, getting a gender for each kit. Numbers 1,2 and 6 are Females, numbers 3, 4 and 5 are Males.

Step 4
After genders are picked, the dice will be spun once more. If it lands on a 1 or 6, there will be some sort of complication with the birth.

Step 5
If there are complications at birth, the events surrounding the mating will be examined and a reasonable complication will be chosen. You do not HAVE to kill off a kit unless it is stillborn, but if it is likely a kit will die...please be reasonable.
